天畫廊于2007年9月1日在北京開幕。座落在北京大山子798藝術(shù)區(qū)黃金地段，天畫廊新館建筑面積900平方米，由韓國(guó)著名設(shè)計(jì)師設(shè)計(jì)，按當(dāng)代多功能展示廳規(guī)劃建設(shè)，具備小型美術(shù)館規(guī)模，極具觀賞性和實(shí)用性。

館內(nèi)有三層展廳，一二層展廳之間為活動(dòng)墻，可以配合不同展覽需求變化展廳空間大小。并且可以同時(shí)展示多樣化形式題材的藝術(shù)。首層層高4.5米，二層為主展廳，30％層高7米，70％層高4.5米，三層30％為戶內(nèi)展廳，層高3米，30％為戶外展廳，可以展示雕塑、行為等戶外藝術(shù)，40％設(shè)為VIP學(xué)術(shù)交流室，用于國(guó)際間學(xué)術(shù)交流研究。

北京天畫廊自開幕以來(lái)，邀請(qǐng)多個(gè)著名策展人策劃了多場(chǎng)有學(xué)術(shù)水平的展覽，獲得了強(qiáng)烈的反響。開幕展是由藝術(shù)批評(píng)家高嶺博士歷時(shí)兩年策劃，全面總結(jié)和反映中國(guó)當(dāng)代藝術(shù)界近二十年來(lái)以動(dòng)物為主要表現(xiàn)題材的展覽、文獻(xiàn)及研討會(huì)系列學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng)。學(xué)術(shù)收獲獲得業(yè)界專家一致好評(píng)。

天畫廊將通過(guò)與國(guó)際上多家美術(shù)館、藝術(shù)機(jī)構(gòu)、收藏機(jī)構(gòu)的合作，聘請(qǐng)多位資深策展人、美術(shù)館館長(zhǎng)……精心舉辦每一場(chǎng)有學(xué)術(shù)影響力的展覽，全力推動(dòng)中國(guó)當(dāng)代藝術(shù)的發(fā)展。

GalleryTN.Allthewallscanberebuiltaccordingtheneedofexhibitions.Theheightofthefirstflooris4.5meters,30%ofthesecondfloor’sheightis7metersandtherestis4.5meters.Themainexhibithallisthesecondfloor,partofthethirdfloorisexhibithallandtheotherpartisourofficeroomwhichcanbeusedtoseminarofacademicexchange.
